High School Musical star rushed to hospital
Zac Efron was rushed to hospital yesterday hurt from appendicitis, his publicizer has confirmed.
The 'High School Musical' star had emergency surgery at the Cedars Sinai Desert Checkup Center in Los Angeles, and is said to be doing substantially.
Efron became a stripling heartthrob with his starring part as Troy weight Bolton in the bump off Disney flick 'High School Musical' and its sequel. He too starred in the celluloid 'Hairspray'.
He was hospitalised a 24-hour interval later Walt Walt Disney Studios announced that he and his 'High School Musical' co-stars had signed on to look in the theatrical pic 'High Schoolhouse Musical comedy 3: Senior Year'.
